Default School me on how to use proxies in Firefox... !! (ill pay)

Hey everyone, im new here on the forums. Basically, im a complete newb when it comes to proxies. So, I was wondering..does anyone know how a proxy could be used in order to get past a firewall that has blocked a website? And ive heard that a Socks v4/v5 proxy is the only way to get onto a website with Java-script enabled. If anyone knows how to get onto a website like this, (ie runescape.com) or something along those lines, I would seriously consider paying them if the information is credible and EXTREMELY in depth and detail on how-to. Thank you very much..!!

I would love to know too.
I've been trying to post on a japanese website but everything I do seems to fail.

Help would be appreciated.

well it's simple to use proxies on firefox just to to the top, tools, options, advanced, network, then where it says connection - configure how firefox connects to the internet hit the settings button then put the proxy and port in and there ya go. or you could just look for a proxy add-on for firefox either way works
