Default Scanning 4 Proxies

What are the best ways to scan for proxys, or get working lists (proxynator way) ?
--------------------------------------------------
For scanning proxies you can use 2 tools:

Superscan (just type in google and you can find it)
ProxyHunter (you can get from main site last version)

For get socks i recommend Superscan. Then you can clean list.
To find socks just simple look at the last socks list and choose one adress. So if you choose socks e.g. 213.131.232.1 type in Superscan start adress 213.131.250.0 and end adress 213.132.250.0 and under scan type check "Only scan reponsive ping" .Allports from" 1080 to 1080" or "all selected ports in the list" (if you have self decide which ports must be scanned in "port list setup").
Then click "Prune" to remove any IP addresses that have no open ports shown and save it.

TO find HTTPproxies use Proxy Hunter.
Or you can leech with proxynator (proxynator use google to leech proxies) or use AccesDiver and choose favorite proxies site to leeching.

-----------------------------------------
What is the right way, to veryfy the results?
------------------------------------------

THis is what i did.Scan one time all proxies.Bad and timeout proxies rescan 4-5 times.Remove all proxies with 0 score and all proxies that spill your ip (red).
Save list, import list in a4 proxy and scan one times again.(this is not necessery if you don't have enough time)

----------------------------------------------------
Why some of the proxys aatools checked "green", are really bad at a retest at stills proxy checker corner ?
----------------------------------------------------

I don't have that expirence with my way to verufy proxies.AAtools (2 times) and then again with a4proxy.

---------------------------------------------------
How to use a socks5 proxy, which works good with winmx or irc, in my ie6. ? ( i tried serveral possibilitys, but no chance)
----------------------------------------------------

Tools-Internet option-connection-setting-advanced-type just socks adress under socks and that's all.
Or run socksified IE through Sockscap.

-----------------------------------------------------
I don't know what is the best anonymous proxy, level 1 or level 5 ?
-------------------------------------------------------

Level 1 but i think that primary question here what you understand under truley anonymous proxy.
Difference between proxy level 1 or 2 and the other proxies is that proxies level 1,2 are indistinguishable from a browser and the other proxies spills more and more variables. For every day surfing i'm satisfied with any kind of level (1,2,3,4,5).For me the most important thing is of the proxy spills my really ip or not.Proxy level does not matter if proxy not spills my real ip.
BUt if you do illegal things on the web(hack) then everyone from us must to know that using of anonymous proxies with mp,a4 proxy,sockschain...can't hide who you are.You will never be 100% anonymous no matter what you do online so it is possible that you still can be tracked.Anonymous proxy and chaining makes it only hard to track someone.

--------------------------------------
I want to scan for some irc proxy - How?
----------------------------------------

Download IRC proxy checker:

http://www.simtel.net/pub/dl/56931.html

Import last proxy list, define IRC server and time and scan for working proxies. And remember that you must try to find proxies on other ports than : 23 , 1080 (socks) ,80 - 81 ,3128 , 8080 ,8081
Because almost all IRC server scan now for proxy with ports above.

---------------------------------------------------------
Any other IRC checker.I have problem with IRC proxy checker?
--------------------------------------------------------
Yes.Very useful is AAtools to quick finding list of working IRC proxies.
Import httpproxy list in AAtools and check all proxies. After checking select ftp supporting proxy(you must before testing in AAtools cfg. chose one ftp server
i.e ftp.angelfire.com or any other and test of he is working) and that's are actually proxies that you can use too for IRC (connect method).Benefit of AAtools is faster checking even if you make timeout for testing 20s than IRC proxy checker.
I hope that this help you if still have problem with running IRC proxy checker.

------------------------------------------------
how do you use the proxies for IRC?
------------------------------------------------

Open Mirc/Firewall - Under "Enable Firewall support for" check "Server".
Under "Protocol" depend what you use(socks 4/5 or proxy) check one field.
"Hostname" type your socks or proxy.
"User ID" and "Password" leave blanco.
"Port" type port that proxy or socks use.

Go to "Local Info".
"Lookup method" check "Server".

------------------------------------------------
I leeched large list of proxies but how i can't prevent next time to import same bad/timeout proxies again?
--------------------------------------------------
AAtools have a very useful function if you test large list of proxies (more than 10000).It's call exclusion list. After you have 4-5 time retested your bad and timeout proxies just click right mouse and chose "add to exclusion list".Next time if you import large test to testing all those proxies in exclusion list will not be imported.

------------------
How long does it take to find e.g 100 socks with a 100 kb/s connection ?

How do i actually do it in AA-Tools ?
-------------------

Depend of timeout (by me is 5) and how large list is of yuor socks.I don't use last version of AAtools for socks testing because of problem (they are busy to fix it) but old version 5.12 works fine.If you use new version here are 6 ways for how do it:
---------------------------
1) you should decide on which port 21 or 25 you will test a socks proxy server. Let's say it will be the port 25.

2) you need any SMTP server which you can find in the SMTP column in the Email Verifier (of course, you have to load a few email addresses and start the Email Verifier to find the SMTP servers). For example, there is the SMTP mail.bla.com.

3) go back to the Proxy Analyzer and enter the SMTP server mail.bla.com in the 'Host for connecting' field and specify the port - 25.

4) click the Test button. In the window below you will see the result: the string beginning from 220 means that this SMTP server is working and can be used to check proxies.

5) check the appropriate checkbox (or all of them) depending on what protocol support (Socks 4, 4A or 5) you want to check your proxy server for.

6) click OK and then click the 'Start Scanning' button on the Proxy Analyzer Toolbar.
--------------------------------------

------------------------
Are there any anonymous servers i could use for the mail thingy wich i seem to need?
-------------------------

Look at the SMTP list on forum and if you search a little bit more under old post of SMTP list you can find how send anonymously mail.
If your mail client support socks then you can easily use socks.
I hope that this help you.

-------------------------
How do i test irc socks in AAtools?
--------------------------
Put this adress or any onder adress under setting-socks:

195.197.175.21 port 6667

This works with AAtools 5.12!

----------------------------------
I have a4 proxy and i want to export proxies but how?

Download this small proggies and your problem will be solved!

Which uncommon ports should be scan by SuperScan
----------------------------------
Here are the uncommon SOCKS port numbers that occured more than once in my combined SOCKS list I've gathered from this board up until now, so if you're going to scan for SOCKS on uncommon ports this could be of help.

-----------------------------------------
I'm using aatools and when it opens it gives me the screen to make my choice i pick prot scanner
and i put the ip in and click lookup then 1-255
but then im lost on what to do to get irc proxies ?
------------------------------------------

When screen open you go to the "Proxy Anazlyzer"You can test there HTTP Proxys and Socks Proxys.
Before testing go to the setting and make self as i have:

URL : http://www.glocksoft.net/cgi-bin/jenv.cgi
COntrol String :Environment
Check: Test proxy for HTTPS support
URL : https://grc.com/x/ne.dll?bh0bkyd2

Under setting- socks
Host for connecting: 195.197.175.21 port 6667 (this works only for AAtools 5.12.If you use the last version you can't test socks for connect to IRC.The last AATools allow you onlu to test on port FTP 21 and SMTP 25)
Setting-FTP
Check test proxy for FTP support:
FTP server: ftp.angelfire.com port:21 timeout:30 sec
Checking method :Connect only (fast)

I hope it that now is everything clear for you.Import list of HTTP proxy in AAtools.Test all proxy (timeout 10 sec).Look at for good proxy that support FTP (under proxy that suppport FTP you can see icon).
Testing socks for irc downmload version 5.12 and follow procedure from above.Import socks and test all socks.
For accurate testing test bad or timeout proxys 4-5 time.
Server is oft overburden and soms give good proxy as bad.

--------------------------------------
Where i can find older version of AAtools?
--------------------------------------
AAtools 4.30

AAtools 4.31
http://www.simtel.net/pub/dl/55256.html

AAtools 5.0

http://downloads.securityfocus.com/tools/aatools.zip

AAtools 5.12

------------------------------
How i can test really speed of proxys?
---------------------------------

Use a4proxy or AATools!!

Option in a4 is "Check Url".Select all proxies
put the in field www.cnn.com or www.dailynews.com or whatever and go.After a4 finished just click on speed and you'll get fast proxy.

With AAtools use next trick:

Use the next trick:

1. Go to the General Settings in the Proxy Analyzer.

2. Fill in the Script URL field with any web page with size ~10kb.

3. Fill in the 'Control String' field with any word from this web page.

4. Click OK.

5. Go to the Main Window of the Proxy Analyzer and type 1 in the Threads field.

6. Start the Proxy Analyzer.

Note: you cannot use this method to check proxies for anonymity.

-------------------------------
Are IRC proxies only proxies for IRC?
---------------------------------

Nope.IRC proxies are actualy proxies that support connect method. All IRC proxies you can use to connect anonymously to
the ftp servers,ICQ....
The HTTP CONNECT method is used to tunnel non-HTTP protocols through an HTTP proxy. HTTP proxies typically use the CONNECT method to allow users to access HTTPS sites in explicit proxy mode.
If you use AAtools don't waste your time to check again all working proxies with IRC proxy checker to find IRC proxies.Just check which proxies in AAtools are ftp supporting (connect proxies) and all ftp proxies are automaticaly IRC proxies.

-----------------------------------
when i try to scan proxies with proxyhunter my provider (abuse@myprovider.com) send me the next day an email with the comment that i scan ips ...
how can i hide my ip when im using proxyhunter or an other proxyscanner ?
-------------------------------------

You could run ProxyHunter socksified (eg. through SocksCap - www.socks.permeo.com/ )
then your portscanning should go undetected because you only connect to the SOCKS server
the only drawback is that the speed is now dependant on the connection of the SOCKS server you're using, but i'm sure you can find a fast one somewhere in the lists on this board.(
