Thumbs down Angry IP Scanner Tutorial

I been asked for making a quick guide to Angry IP Scanner, So here it goes.

* Click on the photos for full size.

First of all use the older version (v2.21) - You can download it from here.
You don't need to install it, Just double click on the exe file and the program will start:

Now you need to edit the options or leave them, Here are the options i use (Its better to use less threads, between 40-80):

Next step is to find good range to scan, Now this is kinda tricky, The best idea is to take one of your previous good results and try to find more proxies from the range, For example, "123.236.131.102:6588" is a good anon proxy, Copy the IP without the port and hit the clipboard symbol, Now hit the Class B or Class C symbols for your scan needs (See Photo):

Next step is to fill ports for your scan, Another tricky phase because there are many ports, Some are common most are not common but still you can find rare and exclusive proxies with strange port numbers, Its up to you, Use common ports like 80,3128 or use strange ports like 65208,8847 and such.
Another good idea is to look in your last good results and take some strange proxies from there along with common ports. The best method is to make a mixed list. You can also make port ranges from number to number:

Well thats it, Now hit the start and wait for some results.
After the scan is finish, Save the list "File->Export All..." and then load it with Charon:

Happy scanning and testing

* Don't put too many ports for your scan, It will make it very slow.
* Make sure your ranges are safe and not gov, army or any other risky stuff, You can use proxyfire to filter out the risky ranges.

If i forgot something, Or someone else want to add tips or another point of view about the program, Please do, Don't be shy.

I just wanted to add that scanning for proxies can be frustrating, When scanning with common ports you will get many results (that 99% are not anon) and with uncommon only few, But if you keep scanning and don't give up you will get results
