Default noob needs help with proxies

Hi and hello . I dont know much about proxies i really just found out that they exsisted yesterday thanks for one of my friends who told me about it so bear with me here.i have this program called multiproxy i downloaded yesterday it has a bunch of anonymos proxies in it i used one of them or atleast i think i did cuz im not sure how i can use a proxy but anyway i think its kinda working cuz i dont get the blocked messege i usually get but the site never loads it takes forever . so am i doing somthing wrong here is thins becuse of the ping ?? cuz most the proxies im seeing have above 1000 ping ?? do i have to get a proxy thats close or within my country ?? do i even need this program ????????!!! any help would be great by the way i live in kuwait

This is a very basic program that scans and verifies anonymous proxies from a list and connects you to random proxies via your LAN tunnel. There are other simular progams like Sockschain and Proxyway that perform the same functions a bit better than this. Actually, you don't need this program at all, as long as you can obtain a free list of proxies from many websites and check them with programs like Rhino's Charon. Simply choose a valid proxy and plug it into your Internet application's Proxy configuration and you're good to go.

A valid proxy would be any proxy that works, however I suspect he wishes to use only a valid anonymous proxy.

Correct., anything except transparent, preferably anonymous or elite.

Do you really think anyone here needs you to post that what I write is "correct"? Most of them learned a long time ago that I know what I'm talking about.

I'm not implying that you don't, simply agreeing with you.
I've also checked your posting history and saw that you have a penchant for snide and abrasive remarks. For a time there, I thought it just me personally, but now I see that you treat everyone with the same disrespect. I'll know what to expect now.
