Default Help asked for A4Proxy

Hi to all, I wonder if there is anybody with technical knowledge (I hardly have any) that can answer my problem?
The problem is that I have Anonymity4Proxy, a program to check proxies and use them in the connection. To check proxy with DSL, "external check" is required (something with "public IP" I have understood). That has worked fine for over 1 1/2 year. But since a few weeks this does not work anymore with A4Proxy, and I did nothing to my computer. Also, with a clean backup restore, I still get the error message that a script for external check is not available. And the company (http://inetprivacy.com/) does not respond to e-mails.
Does anybody have the same problem?
Can anybody tell me what is wrong (either with my A4Proxy or with the company)?

Hi there, hopefully this should answer/explain the problem you are having.

What the program does is uses a script on the iNetPrivacy network to check if a Proxy works or not. Without this check the program cannot tell if the Proxy is anonymous, or working.

It would appear that after the one and a half years you have been running the program iNetPrivacy has changed the program to use a diferent server to check the Proxies.

So if you purchased a copy of the program, you have to go through the process at http://regdb.inetprivacy.com/regcenter.htm to upgrade your copy of their software. If you didnt purchase their software you cant really do much about this.

If after upgrading you still cannot run the program, then it would appear they have taken the server running the external script down and you cannot really do anything about this.

I hope that clarified the situation a little more for you. Please note I have no affiliation with that software in any way, so this is just an explanation from an informed perspective.
