Default Proxy instability question

Hey Insomniac or anyone else with insight. Why are anonymous proxies so seemingly unstable. I can test a proxy list 3 times and compile a list of anons and have say 500. 1 hr later it may be as little as 200. I am assuming that the volume of use has something to do with it but I was wondering what your insights were and why a working anon would go from anon to still working but spills? It gets frustrating!

An anon very rarely starts spilling, it is normally a result of a diferent testing method being used, eg. using both AATools and Charon. As far as the reliability goes, quite often proxies are on dynamic IP's, and more often they are hammered to the point where the person is forced to go offline to work out what they have configure incorrectly.

Since my own lists are constantly checking and rechecking it removes alot of my own issues, however I have well and truly put up with the aweful checks in the past. It is really just a case of choosing a method which is quick, and sticking to it.
