Leeching pages option.

Does charon googles keywords like "proxy" "list" "socks" etc.
for leeching proxys of pages?

example:
http://downloads.cnet.co.uk/0,39100207,39163764s,00.htm

how can charon leech proxys from those kind of url's,
isn't this an ineffective way to search for proxys?

New to all this, forgive me if im wrong.

Yes, that is what Charon can do. However as you suggested it is uneffective, yet people keep doing it. Traffic caused by that creates alot of issues for site owners like myself.
