ok guyz i was running Charon v.12 on my brothers pc.. its working good...now he has gone bac to studies an i put the same prog on my pc with the same settings an it isnt :? ive tried all the versions an its the same result... it leeches the proxies but doesnt find any good ones :cry:


yesterday it leeched 10,000 an not even 1 was good, it said that all were bad :? my pc is abit old , wud this make a difference ? the judges were good cause i used them on otha pc ..

can some one plz shed some light on this matta ?? it will be most appreciated !!

For starters grab Charon v0.5.3 instead. I am presuming all of the Proxies you test are timing out. By default Charon seems to like using an Internal Judge. Make sure this is disabled as this is the number one problem people have with Charon these days. If this still doesnt work post a copy of your settings and I shall have a look at them.

Well for starters that judge doesnt respond at all so you really should fix it. Do you have a direct connection to the net, or are you on a college network or anything like that?

im using the progs at home bro ... 2mg broadband speed ...

im curious y u said that the judge is no good cause when charon was tested it ... the ping was about 70 ... that is good isnt it ?? someone told me the lower the ping the betta the judge :?

The Judge may have been good, but it keeps going down for me. A low ping is generally good, but if the Judge stops responding then its never going to be any use.

If you still have a problem then either something is majorly mangled. You might have to try running it through an external Proxy.

ok bro i will try these settings when i get home tonite ... i c u only suggest 5 threads where i was using 100... is this a good way to leech ?? will it not take longer to leech ?? jus wondering bro but thx for all ur help :wink:

Leeching is diferent than testing
