Default I can't connect to WOW due to the firewalls on the school ne

Hi everyone,
Ok so here's the thing: I just moved in to a boarding school and we connect to internet through a general network. This network is firewalled of course and my computer has several programms that protect my computer. Im sure some people know how to play WOW (world of warcraft an MMORPG) even through a firewall..
by the way... my laptop is being protected by software: FPROT, Spyware Guard, Spyware Blaster, Adaware, Spybot. and i have to log in through this thing called novell...
PUUULLLEEEEZZZ HELP!!!!

I heard it was possible to play this game through a proxy server. I have no idea how I can do this. Could I have a step to step walkthrough for a way to play this game through a proxy or basically just play this game even through the firewall.

I would be VERY grateful for any help =D.

First of all, could you please not double post on the forum, and send me two emails. All this does is irritate me and waste my time deleting duplicate messages.

Anyway, to your question. Since you wasted my time, I am not going to give you a step by step answer. However I will give you a rough guide.

Firstly you need to get a free copy of Sockscap. It is a nice program designed to cap network connections on programs. You will have to use HTTP Tunnel or HTTPort to make a connection from your School Proxy Server through to the Socks 5. Put the Port you set in this into Sockscap. You then manually add WOW to Sockscap, and enter 127.0.0.1 as the Socks 5 Proxy plus the port you set in previously. Note that NOT ALL Socks 5 Proxies will work. Then launch WOW from Sockscap and if your Proxy is any good, it should run.

In basis, point Sockscap to HTTP Tunnel or HTTPort, and point that to your School Proxy, and to a Socks 5 Proxy.

There is plenty of information to explain what I just said on this forum and on www.proxy-server.info so please read it first before asking more questions.

Default I am sorry no harm intended.

I'm really sorry if what I did made you lose time =( I didn't intend to. I just thought maybe more people look at some forums and so I tried posting it on different sub forums. Well if you don't want to give me a step by step guide could you please tell me who I can ask =D? or where I can go? That would be awsome.
And again I'm very sorry, I'm not that kind of guy and certainly don't want to be =D.
