The rest of that post tells you how to use a proxy in FireFox (which is free and easy to try out for yourself). Do not ask where to find FireFox.

Ok after checking the third post I have found that my ISP is somehow blocking my use of a proxy. I clicked the link and it shows my true ISP etc. Is there anyway to fix this or am I out of luck? Thanks.

If they are then you should be able to use Proxies on non standard ports to get around it.

I am still trying to figure this one out. I am still learning how proxies work so if someone could explain how a non standard port works or where to look for it please let me know. Thanks!

Hi there, after reading through this thread, i decided to test my ?proxy? via the link lorrissa posted in reply #3. My first question is, what proxy is it talking about?....which proxy am I testing? I thought that a list of proxy's is what i'm trying to end up with!! sorry if this is silly comments but i'm trying to get this straight in my mind! It returned the results that my ip adress was invisible but it determinded my location...obviously with this sort of activity its best to be as anonymous as possible, could you tell me if there is a way of hiding my location aswell and if so, how?
