these seem to work on my checker always. but when i use them normally on the browser it doesn't ? any ideas. or are they working for u ppl?

None of these are working and since they all belong to large hotel chains (Marriott, Hyatt, Ritz-Carlton, etc.) it is doubtful any of them ever tested for you as working.

Perhaps you could let us know the steps you have used and the tools that said they worked? Also the proxyjudges used.

Ok, the key column here is anon. If the proxies were anonymous it would say yes in that column as well as give a point score in the score column.

You have obviously also configured Charon to test these proxies as socks. They aren't, but according to your sceenshot, Charon thinks at least some of them are socks4 and gives them a score of 100 (although this cannot be viewed, I know it to be the case). This is totally incorrect. The proxies are dead and unusable.

This does point out something interesting and the reason I do not use Charon to test socks proxies. It cannot be relied upon and more often than not gives out false positive results.

Please be specific when referring to "other tools" ... which other tools?

Personally I currently use AATools to check everything. However, it's a commercial program. Charon is the best free checker out there, but only for HTTP proxies. For socks I would suggestion you use HellLab's Proxy Checker.

Just remember, all checkers can have problems from time to time and a lot depends on the judge being used as well. There is no perfect solution in the proxy game, and the best checker of all is your browser.
