Default proxy hunting Q

hi everyone,

im new here, i have been doing some cracking on my own off and on for some time. i usually rely on any proxy i find from sites or forums, but lately every proxy i test is dead.

i started thinking this would be a good time to learn how to hunt. this bothers me because every hunting program warns your service may be canceled. is this common? i have comcast, if i run a proxy scan is there a good chance ill get canceled?

If you are selecting the most recently posted lists, this would be very odd. Perhaps "every" was a poor choice of words? Otherwise, you are doing something wrong.

Yes, scanning for proxies is against the TOS (terms of service) of most ISPs (Internet Service Providers). However, most of us do it from time to time without problems, and most ISPs would warning you before simply canceling your service. Regarding Comcast, simply ask them via phone or email about their policy.
