What happened to proxies?
When I started using the internet (in 2000) there were thousands of proxy sites each with thousands of proxies and the vast majority of them WORKED. Within the last year or so, those same sites are mostly gone, some still exist but instead of listing thousands of proxies they list maybe 10 or 20 and the proxies all die very quickly. Even on forums such as this one if someone posts a list of proxies they are all dead within an hour. Why has this happened? I long for the good old days of 5 years ago!
