So as nivek9k agrees with the theory about David H's past..... does anyone link Amanda Overmyer's exit to the fact that naked pictures were starting to surface on the internet?? I mean, come on.... don't they screen these guys before they let them on the show. There should be a question on the audition survey dealing with their past and if it involved any nude photos, arrests/convictions, or lapdances....!!

You have seen them? Or you have bought into the rumors started by the National Ledger (a highly reputable source) and further circulated by the National Enquirer (another great source for truthful information)?

Does anyone really care if Amanda has naked pictures out there? A very high percentage of attractive adult females have photos they wouldn’t want the world see. But, unless you're 12 and still believe in Santa Claus, understand that there are truly few role models in life, and those that are probably don't exist in the limelight.

What makes you think they don't already have those type questions on the entrance form? They have morality clauses which would allow the producers of the show to disqualify a contestant for many different reasons. Point is, people with things to hide (and most in life do) wouldn't answer correctly anyway. A contestant's attitude would simply be, "If you can find the dirty on me, do it, and then we'll see how important the public thinks it is."

Amanda was eliminated because her fans finally were able to truly hear her actual voice this week (instead of either the background singers or band music which was always too loud). She was the same week in and week out, and as Simon said she was actually boring with highly limited talent.

I agree with Lorissa here - a person should not have to live the life of a saint in order to be successful. Let he who has not sinned cast the first stone, and all of that...

I am becoming more and more uncomfortable with the media digging up 'dirt' on famous, or soon to be famous personalities so we can all gawk and point fingers at them. I really despise that.

David H. did not break the law by working in a strip club..... and if Amanda Overmeyer does have nude pictures somewhere, then so what??

The show is about singing. Period.

I enjoyed some of the performances of Tuesday very much!! And then on Wednesday night.... it was a WIN WIN WIN for me!! The three people I like the least were in the bottom three. So I could have cared less who went home. I was very happy it was Jacuzzi ( <--simon is such a bonehead).
